  • She is currently a Lecturer at Central Queensland University, Australia.
  • Her research interests include Consumer Behaviour, Service Marketing, Hospitality and Tourism Marketing, Cross-Cultural Marketing, and Product and Brand Management.
  • Her international experiences include marketing and branding with FMCGs and advertising agencies.
  • She has published seven journal articles including two in the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services ranked A in the ABDC list.
  • She has also presented her works at the Australia and New Zealand Marketing Academy Conference (ANZMAC) and Graduate Research Conference organized by the University of Tasmania.
  • She serves as a reviewer for the Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics (APJML) and the Australia and New Zealand Marketing Academy Conference (ANZMAC).
  • She co-authored the report “Global best practice for designing interventions to reduce household food waste” published by Fight Food Waste Cooperative Research Centre, SA, Australia.

  • He has worked in the areas of business planning and marketing research in the public and private sectors of Iran.
  • He has years of experience working with key industry stakeholders overseas as a sales manager, business analyst, and market research director.

  • She was deputed to attend an International Policy Advocacy Course at School of International Training (SIT) World Learning, Centre for Citizen Advocacy & Advocacy Institute, USA.

“Tapping into the Human Side of Artificial Intelligence for Consumers”

  • She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, U.S.

    She is currently an Assistant Professor in Carnegie Mellon University, Pennsylvania, U.S.

    Her research interests include Mathematical models of Consumer Behavior, Media Consumption, Bounded Rationality, Information Processing, and Product Search.

    She was awarded David M. Grether Prize in Social Science (2013).

    She co-authored ‘Visual attention in consumer settings’ chapter in the International Handbook of Consumer Psychology (Cathrine Jansson-Boyd and Magdalena Zawisza, eds.), in 2016.

    She also co-authored “Planning to Binge: How Consumers Choose to Allocate Time to View Sequential Versus Independent Media Content,” in NA – Advances in Consumer Research Volume 45, in 2017.
